The Chuck It Bucket

How many of you have started a decluttering project and lost motivation halfway through and then you’re stuck with huge messes all over your house that you don’t want to deal with? That’s everyone, right? We’ve all been there! I’m going to be honest with you, you will never have time to declutter. You just won’t. Life never stops. So stop waiting for a “declutter weekend” that’s never going to come. Instead, start using my “chuck it bucket”. I don’t set aside hours to declutter, I declutter in the cracks of my day. If I’m walking to the kitchen and I see a toy with missing pieces or a shirt that doesn’t fit, I pick it up and chuck it in the bucket. Decluttering is no longer this big, daunting task. You make it a natural part of your everyday life. Once you accept that decluttering never ends, you’re always going to be doing it, it becomes so much easier to handle. So grab a basket, stick it in the high traffic area of your house (but out of the way) and as you move through your day and you see something you aren’t using, chuck it in the bucket! And don’t forget my SUM method for decluttering…Do I have Space for it? Am I Using it? Can I Maintain it? As you start to chip away at your clutter, you will be amazed at how quickly the mess is taken care of with almost no effort!

Here are the baskets I typically use: https://amzlink.to/az0CTvAc2ouIe
